What are the product requirements?
Deskman 14 requires Windows 10 or later, and a modern web browser, such as Firefox, Edge or Chrome. Check the documentation for details.
Can I try Deskman before purchasing?
Absolutely! Deskman is free to try: download the full version of the product and try it for 30 days, no questions, no obligations.
How many licenses should I buy?
One per system.
Do you support Windows 7?
If you need Windows 7 or Internet Explorer support, download Deskman 9. Contact us to purchase Deskman 9 licenses.
Where can I download older versions?
Visit the changelog page and find the download link next to the desired Deskman version.
Can I trust your downloads?
Yes. All downloads are free of viruses, spyware, adware and malware. Executables are digitally signed and verified before every release.
Do I need a web browser to use Deskman?
Yes. Deskman is not cloud-based. It runs locally on your network and is accessed through a web browser.
I don't have internet access on my system, is that a problem?
No. Internet access is optional, offline workstations are supported.
Do you have access to my Deskman installation?
No. We do not have access to your data. See our privacy statement for details.
What is Deskman Manager?
Deskman Manager is a complementary tool for users that need advanced features, like centralized logs and license management.
After purchasing a license, do I need to reinstall the software?
There is no need. You'll be able to register your installed copies by following the instructions in your license email.
I am a reseller, how can I buy licenses for my customers?
To purchase on behalf of a customer, click Pricing on our home page and enter their name and organization. Click Buy to pay with your company details. For quotes, contact us.
Is Deskman ready for GMP environments?
Deskman is trusted by customers in regulated environments, including GMP facilities. Key capabilities include offline support, audit logging, and granular access control. Previous versions are available for purchase if your validation requires a specific release.
Can I buy old Deskman versions?
Yes, contact us to purchase legacy licenses. Please note that legacy versions have different pricing.
What is a legacy version?
We use the term 'legacy', marked with [L] in the changelog, to refer to old releases that do not receive specific updates, but still receive tech support and are still available for purchase. We recommend always running the latest version to get the newest features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Is there a knowledge base or documentation?
Deskman includes full documentation, and it's also available online.
Maintenance
Do I have to pay for support?
Yes. A maintenance plan is required to obtain tech support.
What does maintenance include?
Tech support, all updates, major and minor, and access to Deskman Manager.
What do I get if I don't buy maintenance?
One month of support and minor updates.
What happens when my license expires?
Your license never expires. What expires is your maintenance plan, which covers technical support and updates.
Is the maintenance plan a subscription?
No. The maintenance plan is a one-time purchase that covers one year of tech support and upgrades. It does not renew automatically; before the year is up, you can contact us to renew if you wish, or simply let it lapse.
Will I be able to buy, or renew, maintenance later on?
To get maintenance at the standard rate, add it at the time of purchase or renew before it expires. Reinstating an expired maintenance plan will incur additional costs.
How can I renew maintenance?
Contact us, or your preferred reseller, providing your license number and we'll be happy to help you.
I have multiple licenses, do I need maintenance on each one of them?
Yes. Each license requires its own maintenance plan. Maintenance is not transferable between licenses, and technical support is limited to installations with an active plan.
What kind of tech support do you offer?
Email support with fast response times, handled directly by our team; no bots, no outsourcing.
If I pay for support, how fast will you answer my emails?
We typically respond within a few hours. If you haven't heard back within 24 hours, check your spam or junk folder. Make sure your system allows emails from @anfibia.net and @anfibia.eu.com.
After contacting you, will you send me spam?
No. We only use your contact details to respond to your enquiry. No newsletters, no surveys, and we never sell or share your information. See our Privacy Policy.
