The settings page allows you to set up alerts, change the interface language, modify user preferences, enter license details, and others.
Alerts
Alerts are sent when server errors are detected and/or when local issues (CPU, memory, HDD) occur. They are sent only when something really happens: no false alarms.
Alert Types
Alerts can be sent to your email account(s), to your Twitter account and to your mobile.
Important: alerts will be queued for 24 hours until sent, in case the Internet connection is down or the mail/Twitter/SMS server is unavailable.
- Email: Enter your email address(es), comma separated, where you want to receive email alerts
- Mobile: Enter your phone number(s), comma separated, where you want to receive SMS alerts
- Twitter: Activate your Twitter account securely by clicking on Activate Twitter Account. See the details below
- Click Test to check your SMTP settings, your email settings and your mobile settings. If you receive an email/SMS from Anfibia Reactor your settings are ok
- Finally, click Save to save changes
Click Always (up next to the Alerts title) to select when to receive notifications:
- Errors Only: Mark this box to receive alerts only when server errors are detected
- Always (default): Mark this box to receive alerts when server errors and/or local issues are detected
Activate Twitter Account
- Step 1: Click on the Activate Twitter Account link and follow the directions that appear on your browser
- Step 2: Once you authorize Anfibia Reactor to send alerts to your Twitter account, you will be given a PIN. Enter the PIN on the PIN box and press Return, or click Save
SMTP Server Settings
Shows email server settings, which are required in order to send email alerts.
- Server : Enter the SMTP server
- Port : Enter the port: 25 standard/465 SSL
- SSL : Check this box to activate STARTTLS/SSL authentication
- User : Enter your SMTP username
- Password: Enter your SMTP password
- From: Enter the email address from which you want the message to be sent
- Link URL: This URL is the link to your Reactor site, used when you receive alerts or notification emails. Most users will want to leave this as their default Reactor URL
Click Save to save changes.
SMS Gateway Settings - Via Clickatell
Reactor sends SMS alerts via Clickatell, a well-known and respected worldwide SMS platform. Please, read our privacy policy.
Clickatell Account
- First, you need to Sign Up on the Clickatell SMS Gateway service
- Then, you need to create a new connection: HTTP/API
- Log in: select Clickatell Central (API) and enter your account details
- Go to Manage My Products
- Click Add Connection and select HTTP/S
- Change the description to something like Reactor HTTP API, or leave it, it's up to you
- Click the Submit and Get API ID button
- Once you have your new connection, you will be granted an API ID and you can now configure your Reactor SMS settings
Reactor SMS Settings
- Account : Enter your Clickatell username
- Password : Enter your Clickatell password
- API ID : Enter your API ID number
Mobile Number
- The number must be in the international format including the country code, but with no leading zero or + symbol. There should be no leading space before the number either.
- You may enter multiple numbers, comma-separated
Click Save to save changes. To test your SMS settings, enter a mobile number and click Test, up in the Alerts section.
Dashboard Preferences
Select your preferences for the dashboard page.
- Graphs Time Period : Select the time period to be shown on the graphs to the right
- Response Time Format : Select the response time format
- Header Graph : Select the graph to be shown on the dashboard header: CPU & Memory, or Uptime/Availability
- View : Check the Full Screen box to automatically change to full screen on the Dashboard page. Please, note that full screen is not supported by all browsers, yet.
Computer Preferences
Select your preferences for the computer page.
- Graphs Time Period : Select the time period to be shown on the historical graphs
Interface Language
Select a language for the web interface. By default, the browser's default language will be used.
Click Save to save changes.
Themes
There are 5 different styles available. Try them and select the one you like.
Click Save to save changes.
User Preferences
Allows you to change your Anfibia Reactor user preferences and user details.
- Click Change Password to modify your user password and email
- Click Save to save changes
- Stay Signed In: Check this option if you want to sign in automatically, without having to enter name and password every time
- Full Menu: Check this box to automatically show the full menu
- Dashboard Requires Login: Check this box to ask for login when accessing the Dashboard
Password and Email
- Current Password: Your current password will be required to change your user details
- New Email: Enter your email address, useful if you forget the password
- New Password: Enter your new password, twice
Remember that your password must have at least 6 characters. Entering a strong password is recommended, but make sure you can remember it.
Your License
When you purchase your license, you will be able to enter your license details here.
- Click Register to enter your license details
- Click Save to save changes
- Click Edit to update your license details
- Click Upgrade to upgrade your license
