Remote Desktop
Desktop Orbiter allows you to control computers remotely with your local mouse and keyboard.

Usage
- Select one satellite and click
in the toolbar. Or simply press Ctrl-J.
- Once the client desktop screen appears you are ready to control the remote desktop.
- To save the desktop image press Ctrl-S and enter a name and file format: JPG, BMP.
- To send a message click

Options
- Warn Users: check this option to show a warning message on the client desktop every time Remote Desktop is started and stopped.
- Remove Wallpaper: check this option to remove the wallpaper on the client desktop. It will be restored when the connection is closed. Removing the wallpaper is recommended because improves the response.
Remote Desktop Connections
Remote Desktop takes advantage of the bandwidth available. The better your connection, the better the response will be.
Please, note that a Remote Desktop connection may fail due to:
- Lost connection: there is a disconnection, or the connection is really bad.
- Windows locked: there is no access to the user's desktop.
- No user logged in: there is no access to the user's desktop.
- Windows Vista / 7's UAC: the client requests elevation or the user clicks on an elevated window.
Windows Vista / Windows 7 UAC
UAC (User Account Control) heavily interferes with a Remote Desktop connection. If you plan to control your computers remotely, disabling UAC would be a good idea.
