FAQ

  • How does Desktop Orbiter work?

The Control Center manages remote computers/satellites. Install a satellite on each workstation and let the Control Center find them.
  • Can I have multiple Control Centers?

Sure. Just share your license key between them.
  • What if the network goes down?

Satellites will keep working, they are mostly autonomous.
  • Why I can't contact some installed satellites?

Check the firewall. If they are on different networks the best way is using a VPN.
  • How can I make the Internet Filter work?

Open the firewall. Go to Internet Filter | Options and enter your DNS servers manually.
  • Can I manage more than 10 satellites?

Of course. 10 is the limit for the evaluation version. But you can manage as many as you need.
  • Can I add additional satellites?

Yes. It's a trouble-free process. Buy more licenses and we'll update your license key.
  • Could anyone manage my satellites?

No. Once you have your own license key, satellites will only answer to that key. Communication is encrypted.
  • Can I install satellites separatedly?

This zip file includes separate setups.
  • What happens with installed satellites when the evaluation period is over?

Satellites will still respond. But, communication is not encrypted: anyone could manage your satellites! Either uninstall them or purchase your license, with your own encrypted key.
